Auro
Designing an e-commerce flow for an outdoor brand with a focus on clear navigation and smooth checkout.
Auro is a concept project focused on integrating a user-friendly e-commerce flow for an outdoor brand. The project covered the full purchase journey — from the homepage and product listing to product details and checkout. The goal was to create a clear, smooth and trustworthy user experience for both desktop and mobile.
Problem
How can users easily find products and complete a purchase without unnecessary friction?
Solution
A clearer e-commerce structure from product to purchase, with a focus on simple navigation and a trustworthy checkout.
✦ Wireframes
Ideation
Sketching
In an early phase, wireframes and layout alternatives were sketched by hand for product listing, product cards and the checkout flow. The focus was on creating a clear and consistent e-commerce flow that naturally guides the user forward.
User Flow
A user flow was developed to map the journey from the homepage to a completed purchase. The flow helped identify clear navigation steps and define the most important moments in the purchase process.
Mid-fidelity Wireframe
Wireframes were created in Figma to visually structure content and layout before starting the UI design. They were used to test the flow, and to identify and resolve navigation issues early in the process.
UI Design
UI
The UI design was created with a focus on consistency, clear visual hierarchy and coherent use of colour, spacing and components. The goal was to create recognition and an easy-to-navigate interface.
Learnings
Outcome & Reflection
The project resulted in a responsive e-commerce flow for desktop and mobile that combines an aesthetic visual experience with clear product information and smooth navigation.
The work deepened my knowledge of information architecture, visual hierarchy and interactive prototyping in Figma. I strengthened my skills in user flows, wireframing and making design decisions based on UX principles rather than aesthetics alone.
